04

Measurements, documentation and service support

Certification tests of cable links, port labeling and numbering, post-deployment documentation, plus servicing and fault diagnostics after handover.

02 / RECONFIGURATION

From a furniture drawer
to a rack cabinet

The cabling and access point that had been left loose in a furniture drawer were moved into a freestanding rack cabinet on casters, with a patch panel - a clear port layout, tidy cabling and easy servicing in the future.

03 / UPGRADE

Upgrading a
wall-mounted cabinet

A small patch cabinet mounted high in a corner. The devices and cables had been placed haphazardly, with no patch panel; everything was tidied up - a patch panel was added and the cabling was routed and labeled.

04 / TIDYING UP

Tidying up the
cabling in a cabinet

The cabinet with two Dahua NVR recorders, a switch and a PowerWalker UPS was already in service - the problem was the cable chaos at the bottom. The cables were gathered, routed through a cable comb and tidied up without interrupting the network.
